Amedeo Clivio

Amedeo Clivio received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014, where he developed a passion for immigration law, and especially refugee law. He was called to the bar in 2015. In 2016, he started Clivio Law P.C.; on his own at first, gradually building an exceptional team of lawyers and support staff.
Amedeo regularly represents clients before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board, and the Federal Court, as well as in various applications with Immigration Canada. His most notable cases include Rozas Del Solar, a landmark case in administrative law, and Feher, a constitutional challenge to a policy that restricted rights for refugee claimants from certain countries based on their nationality.
Amedeo is passionate about languages. He is fluent in Italian, French and Spanish, and can represent clients in these languages. He speaks some German and Turkish. In his spare time, he enjoys board games, video games, bicycling and swimming.
